Candid Wedding Photos: The Importance of Candid Photos

When people think of wedding pictures, they usually think of the portraits, poses and formal wedding photos you do between your ceremony and reception.

But I find that the shots people love the most are often the natural, candid photos that happened when they didn't even notice the camera was there! These are the images that capture the real you, the relationships behind the scenes, the perfectly imperfect moments that make your wedding, unique, wonderful and extraordinary in so many ways.

And this is why candid shots are my absolute favourite to capture!📸

There are many opportunities to capture those perfect candid photographs that the couple will cherish forever!

Helpings whilst getting ready

Everyone needs help getting ready for their special day, however the moments you spend with loved ones getting ready will be the memories they cherish forever. I love this sweet moment before the ceremony where a mother is helping her little girl get ready to walk down the isle.

The "We Did It" Moment

From the first date to the proposal, the journey to the wedding is a long one, and sometimes there are picture-perfect celebrations during the ceremony. Thankfully, this one was captured as the bride and groom shares his excitement with the crowd.

The 'I need a snack' Photo

No matter how many times you are told to eat or drink on your big day, there is no doubt you will have the pre ceremony nerves and won't be able to. This photo captured the bride enjoying a well earned snack after her ceremony!

Groomsmen Bonding

On wedding day's, most of the attention is usually focused on the bride, however capturing those bonding moments between the groom and his groomsmen can be priceless. I love this photograph of a groom helping fix his best mans tie before their big moment.
